The Logitech Z205 has some great features that you don't get in smaller laptops and even many of the bigger business class models.
Pros
- Very light weight and portable.
- Better than good sound quality for the size of the speaker.
- The clip used to attach the unit to your laptop screen is rubberized to protect the laptops frame.
- The unit can also be sat on a table because the clip also acts as a stand, very nice feature.
- The speakers are powered by the USB cable so you don't need batteries.
- The device has an audio jack in the back that you can plug an iPod or other music player into. You can also stream through your laptop via USB cable and charge your iPod at the same time.
- Overall, a very nicely designed speaker system that someone put real thought into for form and function.
Cons
- The protective case is a soft cover. I would have liked to see a hard cover to better protect the device while going through the airport.
Logitech has a really nice offering with the Z205 you won't get Bose quality sound however, you don't get Bose cost or weight out of it either so the trade off is very worth it.
